Abstract: In order to solve single foggy image’s degradation quickly and efficiently
this paper proposed a dehazing method based on boundary constraint. The atmospheric-scattering-model based algorithm improved on boundary constraint to get transmission for the case that dehazing on bright areas of foggy image was more likely to cause distortion. What’s more
when it came to the optimization of transmission
we adopted a better performed color-image-to-grayscale algorithm. Experiments results showed great efficiency and feasibility of this algorithm with its greatest highlight that it also restored a high-quality haze-free image in bright areas and this algorithm tended to be more efficient compared with other algorithms.
