Abstract:The indoor and outdoor surface temperature and convection velocity of a double layer glass curtain wall in Chengdu were tested in situ
the variation of temperature along the horizontal and vertical direction and how it changed with time were obtained. Then using both the field boundary conditions and JGJ/T 151-2008 boundary conditions
2D steady heat transfer models were established on THERM7
U value of the glass panel and frames were obtained respectively. By comparison
the difference of the glass panel U value is 2.2%
while the difference of frame U value is 12.9%. The influence of glass emissivity and filling gas on the thermal performance of the glass curtain wall was studied with WINDOW7.
