中文摘要: 以二苯基二甲氧基硅烷为单体合成出八苯基环四硅氧烷(P4),将其作为一种无卤硅系阻燃剂与聚碳酸酯(PC)按比例共混挤出制得无卤阻燃聚碳酸酯。对该无卤阻燃PC样品进行极限氧指数测试(LOI)、UL-94垂直燃烧测试、扫描电镜(SEM)测试、热失重分析(TGA)、熔融指数(MI)测试和力学性能测试。实验结果表明:P4对聚碳酸酯具有显著的阻燃效果,随着P4用量增加,聚碳酸酯阻燃等级不断提高;P4均匀分布在聚碳酸酯中,燃烧后炭层随着P4用量增大逐渐致密;该阻燃聚碳酸酯热稳定性有一定的提高,当P4添加量较高时空气氛围中热失重测试后残炭率显著提升;添加P4的阻燃聚碳酸酯熔体质量流动速率(MFR)有所上升,分子量有所降低;该阻燃聚碳酸酯拉伸强度和冲击强度在P4添加量较低时下降较明显,当P4添加量达至4%后,拉伸强度和冲击强度下降幅度趋于平缓,而弯曲强度随着P4添加量增加始终变化很小。
Abstract:As a halogen-free flame retardant, Octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane (P4) was synthesized by using Diphenyldimethoxysilane, was extruded with polycarbonate (PC) in proportion to gain the halogen-free flame retardant PC. The flame retardant PC samples were evaluated through limit oxygen index (LOI) test, UL-94 vertical combustion test (VBT), scanning electron microscope (SEM), thermogravimetic analysis (TGA), melt index (MI) test and mechanical property test. The results showed that P4 has an obvious flame retardancy effect on the PC and the flame retardancy level increased gradually. P4 is dispersed uniformly in PC and PC degraded to some extent wile char layer residues of PC became denser as the content of P4 increased. Besides, the thermal stability of PC increased to some extent and its carbon yield rose obviously in air when the content of P4 reached to a high level. The MFR of PC increased a little indicating the molecular weight declined to some extent. Furthermore, its tensile strength and impact strength declined obviously when added low content of octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane while the two strength changed little when content of octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane reached 4%. Meanwhile, the bending strength declined little as the content of octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane increased.
