中文摘要: 采用对苯二甲酰氯与乙二胺通过低温溶液聚合的方法合成了聚对苯二甲酰乙二胺 (PETA),并将其作为碳源,聚磷酸铵(APP)作为酸源和气源组成膨胀型阻燃体系(IFR),对ABS进行阻燃效应研究。结果表明:PETA在APP的催化作用下能够很好的成炭,IFR的加入显著提高了ABS阻燃体系在高温下的残炭量;当APP的含量为25%,PETA的含量为12.5%时,ABS阻燃体系的极限氧指数为33,达到UL-94测试V-0级;SEM形貌分析也显示出成炭剂PETA的加入能促进阻燃体系在燃烧后表面形成均匀、致密的炭层结构。
Abstract:A novel charring agent of poly(p-ethylene terephthalamide) (PETA) was synthesized by using terephthaloyl chloride and ethylenediamine through solution polycondesation at low temperature. The effect of the intumescent flame retardant (IFR) on ABS was studied. The IFR system was comprised of PETA for carbon sources and ammonium polyphosphate (APP) for acid sources. The results showed that PETA could be effective as a charring agent, the weight of residues improved greatly with the addition of IFR. When the content of APP was 25% and PETA was 12.5%, the limiting oxygen index (LOI) value of IFR-ABS system was found to be 33, and class V-0 of UL-94 test was passed. The microstructures observed by SEM indicated that the charring agent (PETA) could promote the formation of uniform and compact intumescent charred layers in IFR-ABS system after burning.
