中文摘要: 综述了近20年来，国内外对原花色素化合物的组成、结构、化学性质和生理活性研究利用现状，揭示了植物原花色素具有清除自由基、抗氧化、抑制酶活性、保护血管、抗炎症和抑制肿瘤等多种功能，在食品、保健品、化妆品和药品中具有广泛应用价值。指出对植物原花色素的研究已成为植物资源利用、精细化工及天然药物开发等领域的重要研究内容之一。阐释了这类天然产物利用的化学基础，并探讨其研究利用的发展趋势。
Abstract:Proanthocyanidins (PCs), which is widely distributed in plants, is a kind of valuable natural products. The constituents, structures, chemical properties and physiological activities of PCs have been systemically investigated in recent 20 years. It has been revealed that the PCs has multiple biological activities, such as anti-oxidation, scavenging of free radicals, inhibiting of enzymes, protecting of blood vessel, anti inflammation and repressing of tumors, and can be extensively utilized in food, cosmetic, health product and medicine industries. In this paper, the chemical principals for utilization of PCs and the progress on research and utilization of PCs were summarized and discussed based on literatures and the authors’ researches.
