      摘要:Abstract:According to the field investigation, it was founded that in some special areas, the sliding direction of landslides presented a few unusual features related to the earthquake dynamics. Through the detailed remote-sensing interpretation of the study area, the landslide density in slopes of different direction was calculated and the relationship between the sliding direction of large-scale landslides and seismic fault was analyzed, and two features of Wenchuan Earthquake-triggered landslides were obtained, including back-slope and fault diastrophism direction effects. These two effects indicated that when analyzing the genetic mechanism of landslides triggered by strong earthquake, more attention should be given to the following two factors, one being the initial driving force produced by the abrupt diastrophism of seismic fault to slope instability and the other being the refraction and reflection of seismic wave in the slope body and the change of its internal stress thus incurred.

      摘要:Abstract:The upper reaches of Minjiang River valley is located in the severely-afflicted areas by the Wenchuan Earthquake, which is among the areas with the most frequent and severe mountain hazards triggered by earthquake in China even in the world and the development of these secondary mountain hazards goes hand in hand with topographic factors. Taking the Minjiang River valley within Wenchuan county as a pilot site, the paper discussed the impact of geographic environment and topographic conditions on mountain hazards and explained the types, development and distribution of secondary mountain hazards in pilot site. Based on the contribution of each topographic factor to mountain hazards development, the certainty factor of mountain hazards is introduced so as to quantitatively analyze the susceptibility of secondary mountain hazards to three major topographic factors including altitude, slope and aspect. A case study with the technologies of geographical information system(GIS) and remote sensing(RS) is given and the most favorable topographic factors to secondary mountain hazards are probed. The results demonstrate that: a) Secondary mountain hazards induced by Wenchuan Earthquake scatter widely in pilot site with various types, concentrated distribution, large scale and serious damage and are under the control of topographic conditions. b) the altitude between 1000m and 1600m is favorable to secondary mountain hazard development and the altitude above 1600mis unfavorable to mountain hazard development with the altitude increasing but the hazard development decreasing. c)the mid and steep slopes above 35°are sensitive to secondary mountain hazards, while the more the slope degree is and the more probable the mountain hazard occurrence is. d) the susceptive aspects to secondary mountain hazards are southeast, east, south and northeast in turn and their certainty factors are correspondingly 0.169,0.144,0.133 and 0.023. e) the susceptibility of mountain hazards to topographic factors can be quantitatively calculated by means of GIS and statistic analysis methods. The assessment method is essential for managing risks and developing mitigation efforts related to secondary mountain hazards. The findings of this paper can be used as a scientific basis for preventing mountain hazards and assuring key-projects and public security.

      摘要:Abstract:Landslide is one of the most common hazards induced by the Wenchuan earthquake for its large quantity and wide distribution. The sub-basin was introduced into the assessment of landslides induced by earthquake. The Subao River Basin, Beichuan, was chose as the study area. It was divided into 211 sub-basins. And the average elevation, maximum relative elevation, average slope gradient, distance to the river, gully density and stone type was chose as the assessing factor. The statistical method Logistic regression was used to build the assessing model. The model was checked by ROC(Receiver Operating Characteristic) curve and Kappa. And the AUC(Aare Under Curve) and Kappa was 0.926 and 0.69 respectively, which was much better than the pixel-oriented susceptibility assessing model build by the same method. The AUC and Kappa was 0.814 and 0.47 respectively. From the susceptibility map, about 90.04 percent of landslides located in the high susceptible area. But the deficiency of the sub-basin oriented assessment was that, the area of high susceptible area was too large. So at last the concept of LRU( Landslide Response Unit) was introduced. The sub-basin could be divided into smaller units by some factors related to landslide. The assessment based on LRU may have a better assessing result.

      摘要:Abstract:Based on the concentrated deformation and destruction characteristics of excavation damage slopes in Wenchuan earthquake,as granite the media of excavation damage slope for the finite element model. The excavation damage effect and earthquake response of different excavation scale damage slopes have been studied, it’s include natural slopes, excavation of 5 m, 10 m, excavation of the excavation of 15 meters and excavation 20m. Analysis shows that excavation damage not only themselves destroyed the stress balance of slopes, but also impact on the seismic response of slopes. Excavation damage and seismic dynamic damage caused excavation damage slopes concentrated deformation and destruction in the earthquake and forming the concentrated region of seismic mountain disasters, and different excavation scale lead to the evidently different seismic response.

      摘要:Abstract:The post-failure behavior of slopes is very important for the hazard map producing and risk assessment of landslide. The kinematic process of heavily jointed rock slopes is simulated using a 2D discrete element model (PFC2D code). The numerical model is composed of discs bonded together, and can simulate the behavior of both intact rocks and joints. A steep rock slope which was intensively disturbed by the Wenchuan earthquake is analyzed using the PFC2D code. Parametric study has been performed to examine the influence of particle bond strength on the geometry of the sediment and runout of the slide. Results show that the determination of particle properties is the key of the numerical simulation.

      摘要:Abstract:Wenchuan Earthquake has posed a grave threat to the safety of cultural heritage architectures in earthquake stricken area. In order to protect cultural heritage architectures, according to survey results after earthquake, the earthquake damage characteristic of different structural forms was summarized. Combined with the feature of cultural heritage architectures in Wenchuan seismic disastrous area, the damage mechanism and seismic importance of different member were analyzed, and some suggestions were put forward for the earthquake damage evaluation method and protection measure.

      摘要:Abstract:There were few papers about the safety assessment of dammed lakes,regarding to the factors of gradation of blocked dam, stability of upstream mountain, and downstream bed structure, in the past. Based on the investigation of the disaster area induced by Wenchuan earthquake, three factors affecting the safety of dammed lakes were analyzed by several examples. Accoding to the analysis, the following conclusion were obtained. The gradation of blocked dam can influence the structure stability of the dams, the peak discharge of the dam break, and permeability. If the second geo-hazards such as collapse and landslide happen in upstream mountain, the dammed lakes will be danger. The stronger of downstream bed structure can increase the stability of the stream bed, and it is also good for dammed lakes conservation. The safety index of three factors was brought up, and the comprehensive index for the safety assessment of dammed lakes was also suggested.

      摘要:Abstract:The mechanical parameters of each phase of recycled concrete such as old hardened mortar, the new hardened mortar, interfacial transition zone (ITZ) were obtained by axial tension tests, and the failure mechanism of recycled concrete under axial tensile loading was studied. Based on the relevant knowledge of solid mechanics and mechanical properties of each phase of recycled concrete, a new meso-level lattice model of recycled concrete was proposed. According to the material parameters of each phase of recycled concrete, lattice model simulation on the failure mechanisms of the recycled concrete under axial tension was carried out by the lattice model, the axial tensile stress-strain relationship curves for recycled concrete were attained, and the internal damage process and tensile failure mechanism of recycled concrete were discussed. The results showed that the tensile fracture occurred approximately in the old or new hardened mortar, and the results of lattice model simulation were consistent with those of axial tensile tests.

      摘要:Abstract:On 12 May 2008, a devastating mega-earthquake of magnitude 8.0 struck the Wenchuan area, northwestern Sichuan province, China. A large number of secondary mountain hazards were triggered by the earthquake, such as rock fall, avalanches, landslides, debris flow and so on. Hanyuan County is the only Ⅷ degree seismic intensity in Ⅵ degree area in 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake (M=8.0), it is a typical teleseism abnormal area. The massive landslides are triggered by the loosening of the mountain and extreme weather. In this paper, taking the large-scale landslide in Houzi Yan occurred at Hanyuan County on August 6th, 2009 as a Sample, the landslide should be divided into three stages, which is staring period, movement period and collision period. According to the formation process of barrier dam of Dadu River, using landslide geometry and landslide kinematics theory, the formation and mechanism of Hanyuan mountain landslide are discussed. Based on dynamic landslide and energy balance principle, the motion law of the rock mountain landslide is analyzed, and the speeds at the various stages are calculated. The results show that the speed of sliding mass firstly increases and then decreases during full course movements of Houziyan Landslide, movement velocity is higher than the speed at the starting period and after collision. It can not only offer the basic parameters of reservoir design and surge height determination, but also provide the theoretical basis of the slope failure and dammed lake prevention.

      摘要:Abstract:Modern timber structure have the advantages of low carbon, energy saving, fast construction and good seismic performance. during reconstruction of WenChuan earthquake process, light frame wood constructions and heavy timber structures were used in Xiang`e elementary school, Mianyang Special Education School, Beichuan Leigu Town Central Elderly Care Centre and Qin-Chuan region; in order to solve the problem of low import substitution rate, experimental study were carried out to investigate the seismic performance of wood shear walls fabricated using Chinese wood based panels, monotonic loading protocol based on ASTM E-564 test standard was adapted to test total of 15 walls with 3 different panel thickness, test results suggested that these walls exhibit equivalent seismic performance with walls fabricated using imported wood panels, ductility ratio range from 4.1 to 7.0. This paper introduced the application of modern timber structure in post disaster reconstruction of WenChuan earthquake, and the seismic performance of wood shear walls fabricated using Chinese wood based panels is introduced as well, which may give reference for the promoting of application of timber structure in china.

      摘要:Abstract:Under the action of earthquake and its induced geo-hazards, the roads in the earthquake areas were damaged seriously. The restoration and reconstruction of the roads were launched immediately by the government and relative departments after wen-chuan earthquake.Du-wen highway is an important lifeline of earthquake resistance and disaster relief of 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake ,and it is one of the most serious damaged roads in the earthquake areas . Taken the du-wen highway as an example, the damaged condition about subgrade, bridges, tunnels was described in detail ,and the restoration and reconstruction of du-wen highway were introduced concretely in this paper. Through the investigation of geo-hazards on slopes, different control measures were chose to geo-hazards for the slopes of forty-two sections. Moreover, nine cut-and-cover tunnels were constructed in nine sections.

      摘要:Abstract:A new kind of post-tensioned coupled wall (PCW) structure is proposed. Cyclic tests of two PCW specimens were carried out. Based on OpenSEES, the nonlinear beam-column element which is based on fiber model and considered the nonlinear shear deformation is used to simulate pier ; zero-length element is used to simulate the action of post-tensioned steel and reinforcement in the interface between coupling beam and coupled wall; constitutive model is established by programming; numerical analysis of the cyclic test is performed using adaptive nonlinear solution. Results show that PCW is of good self-centering ability with little residual deformation after unloading, and damage concentrating in certain parts that can be repaired after the earthquake; energy dissipation capacity is increased because of the connecting reinforcement; elastoplastic performances of PCW can be well simulated by numerical analysis, analysis model based on OpenSEES can be applied to non-linear analysis and of good precision.

      摘要:Abstract:The power generation benefit of hydropower station will increase when an ahead of schedule impounding scheme is carried out. The influence on initial impounding process of Mao’ergai Hydropower Station was analyzed combing with reservoir runoff, downstream water requirements, impounded water level and level rising rate. The power generations of the original scheme and an ahead of schedule impounding scheme were calculated during December 2011 to April 2012. The power generations which were generated by Mao’ergai, Se’ergu and Liuping hydropower stations in two conditions showed that the power generation of all the hydropower stations was increased with the ahead of schedule impounding scheme, and more economic benefits can be created in the new impounding scheme of Mao’ergai Hydropower Station. According to the comparison of generated energy during December 2011 to April 2012 between the original scheme and impounding program in advance, the generated energy results of Mao’ergai, Se’ergu and Liuping hydropower stations in two conditions can be achieved respectively. The results showed that the generated energy of these stations is increased by impounding in advance.

      摘要:Abstract:Wenchuan earthquake has induced a myriad of landslides. About 91 landslides are found in the ravine of Ganxi in Beichuan county, with a total area of 10.42 km2―28.95% of the whole drainage area and without anyone debris-flow to be found in the ravine so far. Some laws have been found on the gradient, aspect, elevation, distance of rupture, and formation lithology of mountain hazard in Ganxi gully: 1)the gradient of landslides is mostly 30º~50º, and landslides are more likely to occur with the increase of their gradient; 2)the aspect of landslides is mainly south; 3)the altitude of those landslides is primarily 1000~1600m, especially 1000~1400m; 4)the majority of landslides are around 2000m away from Beichuan fault or within 1000m from some other main faults; 5)most of the mountain hazards occur in the stratum of T1f+t. The long-term development trends of the debris flow in Ganxi gully are as follows: 1)its strength of activity will keep reducing with the decrease of loose granular materials and total amounts of debris flow; 2)it would present an activity-quiet phase alternately and the quiet period will extend gradually; 3)the debris-flow’s activity is transport-limited system right after the earthquake, followed by the transitional type between transport-limited system and weathering-linmited system and ultimately is weathering-linmited system; 4)debris flows will keep active about 10~15 years after Wenchuan earthquake; The mountain hazard status quo of Ganxi gully and analysis of its long-term development trends provides foundation for the scheme of hazard reducing in the future.

      摘要:Abstract:The 5-12 Earthquake induced many geological disasters in Pengzhou, Sichuan province which has been the main barrier for reconstructing and developing of local society. The characteristics including disasters type, scaling, causative factors and the distributions of geological disasters were investigated and analyzed. With the data of geological disasters and loss of travelling industry, the main hazards and some opportunities bring by earthquake were sorted. Some advices based on sustainable development were given for reconstruct in the end.

      摘要:Abstract:It has been two years after the Wenchuan earthquake taking place in 12 May, 2008. Researchers are still concerned about the prediction of the geohazards which were triggered by the earthquake during the rain season in these years.As a random event geohazards occurrence is affect by environmental factors and triggering factors. According to geohazards mechanism, the probability based prediction method of regional rainfall-induced geohazards is proposed by the combination of geohazards hazard zonation and probability of regional rainfall-induced geohazards occurrence. Then, the method is applied in earthquake hit region of Chengdu City, Sichuan province, which is established by the analysis of geological environment and hydrology of study area, the model is based on geohazards occurrence probability and the data of meteorology. This method is credible, note that the probability prediction method was capable of effectually improving geohazards time and space warning system.

      摘要:Abstract:Aiming at the classification problem of the geo-hazard fatalness zoning, taking landslide hazard as an example, this thesis carries out application research of neural network and ensemble learning on geo-hazard fatalness zoning based on GIS. The application of artificial neural networks method in geo-hazard fatalness zoning was described, Wanzhou district of Chongqing was used as the study area, geo-hazard fatalness zoning was implemented using the quantitative method, based on the research of ensemble learning and GIS technology. In order to use the complementary effect among the influencing factors of landslide fatalness zoning, adopting the ensemble learning algorithm based on attribute combination to realize the geo-hazard fatalness zoning was proposed. Finally, this algorithm was successfully applied to geo-hazard fatalness zoning combined with GIS visualization display technology. The result of fatalness zoning was consistent with the actual situation, the better effect was achieved.

      摘要:Abstract:The issue of water safety has become the national strategic safety issue. Water safety problems in the regions of a number of landslide lakes formed by an earthquake will cause significant harm. The evaluation system of water safety in landslide lake areas was constructed in this paper, and an improved evaluation method of projection pursuit dynamic cluster model was used to make up the traditional projection pursuit cluster model in the parameter settings and the indefinite clustering result and then water safety of the regions of 21 larger landslide lakes in Wenchuan earthquake was evaluated. The results showed that the level of water safety was lowest in Beichuan County and highest in Pingwu County. The evaluation results were in line with reality and classification was clear and simple. Evaluation results were applicable to promote to all the earthquake landslide lake regions.

      摘要:Abstract:Based on the current experimental studies, low-cycle fatigue damage accumulation assessment approaches of steel beam-to-column joint are presented. As a study of the current analytical models and design codes, investigations in the area of low-cycle fatigue life prediction and damage model are outlined. This includes the comparative studies of S-N line approach, fracture mechanics approach & local strain approach. Further application and development of these models are discussed. Finally, suggestions are given for further research work.

      摘要:Abstract:Single anti-slide structure can’t assure slope stability of large thrust of landslide, so composite structure emerges as the times require. But now results about stability analysis of composite structure reinforced slope are scarce. Hence, in this paper, an example of slopes reinforced with pile and anchor composite structure was used to study the stability under the seismic loading. Calculations are conducted by applying the limit analysis upper bound method. Analytical expressions were derived that enable to readily calculate the reinforcement force of pile required to prevent failure and the yield acceleration of slopes subjected to earthquake loading. Moreover, a suitable procedure based on the assessment of earthquake-induced permanent displacement is proposed for the design of reinforced slopes in seismically active areas. From the example, we have gained several results that are presented in order to illustrate the influence of seismic forces on slope stability.       摘要:Abstract: Baozhusi gravity dam has the greatest reservoir capacities near the center of earthquake,lacated in Guangyuan city in Sichuan province which is one of the six worst-hit areas of “5.12” massive earthquake.The monitoring datas showed that the structure of dam was integrated and the transverse joint of individual dam section was squeezed; By calculating and analyzing uplift pressure sequence of measured value and reduction coefficient , it was found that the uplift pressure at dam foundation had no obvious changing after the earthquake, only individual measured values of measuring points took on minor fluctuation; After earthquake, Sequence of measured value showed that the seepage volume of the dam increased greatly , reduced subsequently and showed the trend of decreasing gradually; through the analysis of seepage pressure isoline graphs and vectorgraph ,obvious changing was not found at the post-earthquake groundwater levels of the great dam, seepage pressure space was relatively stable.Based on comparative analysis of dam monitoring datas and site investigations before and after earthquake, the changing course of dam seepage after earthquake was analyzed and the working conditions of dam seepage control system was judged basically.

      摘要:Abstract:This paper described a precast concrete framing system, in which the U-shaped reinforcing bar is used to provide the flexural resistance between prestressed beams and columns. The characteristics of this system were firstly described. Then the cyclic loading tests on three beam-column sub-assemblages were reported. The distinct difference among the three specimens is the length of the U-shaped reinforcing bar. The strains of the reinforcement bars were mainly discussed in this paper. The results show that the yield loads of specimens have small relation to the length of the U-shaped reinforcing bar, and the yield loads of the stirrups are larger than longitudinal reinforcement bars. The reinforcement bars of the column are not yield during the test, so the column works well. This meets the requirement of strong column and weak beam. The strains of the U-shaped reinforcing bars indicate the slip of the bar is from the beam-column interface to the end of the service hole.

      摘要:Abstract:Abstract: This study concentrates on investigating the bond strength of steel bars of fresh concrete after the occurrence of an earthquake. The experiments have been carried out through the simulated earthquakes that were generated by a high-performance vibrating platform with a size of 6m×6m, provided by the Nuclear Power Institute of China. E1 centro was used to take the recordings of the time series of parameters. The fresh concrete samples of C30 and C50 were taken to check their bond strength of steel bars after the simulated earthquakes at magnitude of 78. The five ages of fresh concrete, 12, 24, 48, 72hours and 7days, were used for the comparison purpose. The test results show that the bond strength of steel bars of the fresh concrete after 28 days are hardly affected.comparable to the without vibrated.

      摘要:Abstract:The corridors of a cement factory were damaged in different levels after the earthquake happened in May 12th, 2008 in Jiangyou, In addition, with the structure gradually aging, members cracking, steel corrosion, concrete spalling and carbonation, serious security issues were caused in production. Based on the detection and appraisal results of the concrete corridors, reinforcement measures analysis were made for the damage structure and structure members. Take into account the treatments of seismic joints, damaged structural members, strengthening of structural integrity and conformation measures, the detailed reinforcement measures were presented as reference design for similar structures after earthquake.

      摘要:Abstract:Recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) is a kind of practical and economic material to reuse the great amount of construction and demolition wastes, which has received many discussions nowadays. In order to apply RAC more effectively, it is necessary to study its properties especially for those aggregates from earthquake-stricken area for post-earthquake reconstruction. In this paper, the physical and mechanical properties of recycled aggregates (RA) from quake-stricken area are tested. The mix design with different RA replacement ratios is proposed to develop the RAC based on the comparison with natural aggregates (NA). Furthermore, the mechanical characteristics of RAC are studied. The results show that RAs indeed perform differently compared with NAs, such as higher porosity, 3.5 times higher water absorption, 10% lower density and acceptable strength and surface texture. The RAC with different RA replacement ratios indicate lower density, compressive strength and tensile strength than those of natural concrete. The higher the RA replacement ratio is, the more reduction is. The strength variation against time is also studied. The failure modes of RAC and natural concrete are observed and analyzed from the broken surfaces. The experiment results would provide references to further research on structural hollow sections filled with recycled concrete.
