Abstract:The accurate evaluation and decision-making to product project is very importance in the design process. In this paper through contrasting the characteristics of current evaluation methods

incorporating least square method and Extenics theory

an extension evaluation model for multi-attribute product project is put forward. First the indexes weight are determined with F-AHP evaluation methods. Then the eigenvalue of evaluation index system are calculated with the multi-attribute correlation function of Extenics theory according to the corresponding attributes. A perfect performance function is established after balancing all indexes weight and the evaluation to product performances is done with iterative calculation. Finally

an evaluation process about a geneva mechanism was carried out to verify the validity of this evaluation model.
