Simulation Study on the Best Engine-Propeller Associated Control Method of Ship Accelerating Process
Abstract:A simulation model of Combine Diesel And Diesel propulsion system is built in Matlab/SIMULINK environment
and the model is integrated and improved using MFC. The simulation model is verified by the trial data
and the result shows the data from the simulation model is close to the trial data. Two “Engine-Propeller” control methods of accelerating process of this propulsion system are proposed
one is symmetrical accelerating process
of which the engine speed and the proprller pitch increase equably; the other is changeable accelerating process
in which the increase rate of the engine speed or the proprller pitch is changeable. Both of the two control method are designed and simulated. The simulation results show that when adopting the second control method
the flexibility of the ship accelerating process improved remarkably.
