Abstract:Based on three-dimensional elastoplastic finite element theory
a computational method considering interface damage and continuous crack under high pressure is introduced. Interface elements are modeled on potential sliding surface of diversion tunnel plug
then research the damage degree of interface element on the condition of water pressure. The interface will disengage at serious damage section. Internal water will enter the disengaged interface contacts to it
which may causes continuous crack of interface elements. In the end
effective action surface between diversion tunnel plug and externality and the damage degree of interface can be obtained. The cohesion of interface elements is reduced based on the degree of damage. Then the safety factor of diversion tunnel plug can be calculated. This method is used to calculate the stability of diversion tunnel plug at Mao’ergai hydropower station and has gained a good effect
which indicates that the proposed method is effective and reliable.
