Algorithm for Frame Rate up Conversion Based on Verification Block and Verification Frames
we discuss Frame Rate up Conversion .Many algorithm for frame rate up conversion have been presented
but none of them make full use of the information of image to estimate the motion vector of insert block. In order to resolve the problems of error motion estimation duo to spurious temporal symmetry for frame rate up conversion and decrease block artifacts,this paper proposes a novel video frame rate up-conversion algorithm based on verification block and verification frame. We calculate the bidirectional matching ratio of the block in inter-frame,then verify the results of the motion estimation by verification frame and verification block and get a more accurate motion estimation. Finally
the motion vector smoothing and adaptive overlap block motion compensation are execute to get interpolation frame. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm provides better subjective and objective quality
