the amplitude and phase estimation (APES) adaptive beamforming method combined coherence factor (CF) was introduced. This method was based on the APES which had the merit including accurate amplitude estimation
improved imaging contrast and robustness; and then CF was used to weight the proposed method for reducing the level of noises and interferences and improving the imaging resolution. The simulated results showed that the proposed method in the aspects of imaging resolution and contrast was better than the conventional delay and sum (DAS)
MV and original APES beamforming method.
